Mia Rumpelstiltskin was born in the Dark Forest. Her mother died during childbirth, so she grew up with Rumpelstiltskin and the dark creatures of the forest. Her childhood was made of crooked fairy tales, dark rituals, forest spirits, curses and rough fatherly love that expressed itself more through prohibitions than warmth. Early on she showed instinct magic: small curses, eerie songs, shadow tricks and nature signs. At 15 she discovered Rebel Girl FM and sensed something familiar in Zoey's voice without knowing Rebel Girl was her sister. When she learned the truth at 16, she fled to Nuremberg. Mia is hopelessly in love with Shadowman; he drew a clear line: if anything ever happens, she has to wait until she is 20. Together with Sofía, she forms the front face of the Safari of Terror against Helga Schatten and Karl Lauerbach.
